Signed protocol to promote Euro’Meet 2019 in Viana do Castelo
The Mayor of Viana do Castelo and the head of the European Network of Outdoor Sports (ENOS) signed yesterday the protocol that will allow Viana do Castelo to host, on 24 and 26 September 2019, the fifth edition of Nature & Sports Euro’Meet 2019. The city was chosen for having presented the best candidacy for European event and will join more than 600 participants linked to outdoor sports.
It should be recalled that the municipality of Viana took part in the Nature & Sports Euro’Meet 2013 in Slovakia and in 2015 in Northern Ireland and subsequently applied in Brussels to the Executive Board of the European Network of Outdoor Sports (ENOS ), having been chosen to host this great event.
The 2014 Nature & Sports Euro’Meet conference, which will take place on 24, 25 and 26 September, will include the Euromeet and the European Week of Sport, and the program also includes the University on 22 and 23 September Watersport Camp, which will allow European college students a unique and inclusive nautical experience.
The program, consisting of workshops, case studies, technical visits and nautical activities, will culminate in a contest of ideas / projects in different areas, whose winners will be able to present their projects at Euro’Meet 2019. This initiative is open to students from different areas, with some places for students with disabilities.
The conferences will be held in the conference center of the Castle of Santiago da Barra and the final selection of the topics to be discussed will result from a joint decision between the ENOS Management Committee and the Euro’Meet 2019 Organizing Committee.
